High lights
- The hostel we’re in has no one else in our shared room for the duration of our stay so it’s a private room now.
- We’re in Japan! Caught a last-minute train after our flight was delayed and didn’t have to sleep in the airport.
- A friend is considering coming to work at my school next year.
Low lights
- Didn’t get to sleep at the airport, would have been an entertaining experience for sure.
- This month-long vacation costs the equivalent of a month’s salary so I’m feeling a bit of fiscal guilt, but I’m also checking off a lot of things I want to do with my life so trying not to think too hard about it.
Overall
I’m really really really pleased with life right now, I’m looking forward to the new semester once I get back and go at it with refreshed.
