Busy but productive month!
Not gonna be a long one, I’m in the last semester of my Master’s and come hell or high water I’m gonna freaking graduate.
Spendings Report: $2,403
This girl is definitely spending more on fun pretty things, like getting manicures. On a related note, I’ve taken on extra tutoring sessions to help cover these lifestyle perks so I can hopefully bring my savings rate back up to the 60-70% range regularly again.
Did I say I got a new job yet? If not, I’m gonna be moving to a school closer to downtown next year! This should cut down on commute costs significantly as I can bike and subway around much easier.
Net Worth Update: still a positive slope!
It’s going to be wild looking back on this in another few years and be able to track major world events through my own net worth.
Besides the road being now very bumpy but with odd sections of smoothness, I’m continuing to enjoy life. I’ve started taking the subway more now that the weather is nicer and I’ve got more free time, there’s something really lovely about being surrounded by other humans but not having to interact with them, just enjoying the vibes of Beijing’s amazing public transit system.
