Welcome and hello! Thanks for taking an interest in my blog. If you’re as confused about this adulthood business as I am then this is the place to be.
I’m a 26-year-old (as of January 2020) math teacher currently working in China, and previously, London. I’ve been very lucky in my life and I’m working hard to enable myself to pay it forward as much as possible.
On this blog I will talk about my finances, travels, health, and life lessons I’m learning. This will serve as a chronicle of my journey to reach adulthood, the adventures along the way, and what it takes to earn an adult certificate.
For now, here’s a participation trophy for all of us ‘adults’ out there 🏆.

- I’ve been in 4 different school systems: Canadian, British, Chinese, and IB.
- I’ve once won a teaching award for giving the most homework.
- I have a weakness for country music and bagpipes.
